In today’s post I’m going to share with you some products that I had really high hopes for… but disappointed me.
Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation – really cool packaging, a variety of shades and promises full coverage… so far, so good BUT it oxidizes, is cakey, does not absorb oil, and is patchy.. Just not the one for oily skin, would not recommend.
Benefit Dew the Hoola Soft Matte Liquid Bronzer – it looks absolutely horrible on my skin. Way too orange. It is also very liquid-y, like water. It does not apply evenly with either fingers or a beauty blender.
The Body Shop Insta Blur Primer – Impossible to squeeze out of the tube and feels so greasy. It made my foundation impossible to blend in and went all streaky and cakey on my face.
Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara – Firstly, I hate the brush… so incredibly huge that I poked my eyes a few times when applying. It does not separate lashes, or even make them look any longer. And in a few hours it is smudged under your eyes.
Glamglow Daily Clearing Cleanser – I love the Glam Glow masks but this cleanser is terrible. It didn’t clear my skin but caused it to break out.
ABH Modern Renaissance palette – I tried to love it, I really did… but for me the shadows are hard to blend, powdery and have a lot of fallout. The colors are beautiful but I couldn’t make them work for my skin tone. The packaging and brush are not my favorite as well.
